This has been a number of years in the making. I wanted to add motors to my telescope to allow me to control it remotely. The idea being I could be inside while the telescope was outside. I'm not so interested in astrophotography but am hopefull this arrangement will allow me to see deeper than by eye.
The scope uses a beagle bone green wireless for the controller and utilizes the PRU's on it to run the stepper motors. the normal GPIO - PWM drivers cannot be controlled to the required frequencies (fractional value) but the prus at 200Mhz can approximate these.
Uses Indigo Server to run the SVbony 305 camera.
