A Household power saving device is generally used in residential homes to save energy and to reduce electricity bills. The power saver is a small device that is to be plugged in any of the AC sockets in the house. Moreover, power savers save up to 40% of the energy.
The main advantage of power savers is not that they provide a backup system in times of low current, but that it protects the household appliances. Thus, the power saver not only protects the appliance but also increases its life. Moreover, they also reduce energy screw drive consumption and thus the electricity bills.
COMPONENT LIST :Let’s see what are the components required for this
- 3-pin Top shoe
- Insulated copper wire (1.5 mm)
- Small plastic bottle with lid (hard)
- UTSOURCE 15µF, 440V Capacitor
- Soldering Iron
- Screw Driver
- Plier
- Nose pliers
Step 1:Arrange the components
Step 2:Open the 3-pin top plug
Step 3:Take 2 insulated wires of 1.5 mm size (length around 10 cm each)
Step 4: Insert the copper of wires in the hole of plug and tighten the screw with a tighten screwdriver
a plug
Step 5:Pull off both wires from plug properly as shown below
Step 6:Cover the plug and tight it, now it looks like as below
Step 7:take plastic bottle as shown below
Step 8:Make hole in the lid of bottle with solder
Step 9: Insert wires of a tightenplug into the hole of the lid
Step 10:Now solder both wires with capacitor connections
Step 11:Insert capacitor into the bottle properly
Step 12:Close the lid of the bottle properly
Step 13:Now connect the plug with socket and turn on the device
How it works:
1. Power saver works on surge protection technology.
2. Power Saver stores the electric energy (electricity) inside it using a capacitor.
3. Capacitor releases it in a smoother way to normal without the spikes.
4. The power savor also removes carbon from the circuit which also encourages a smoother electrical flow without losses.
5. We now have less dissipative power spikes, so that we have more electricity in circuits to be used to power appliances than before.
Conclusion:
Energy-saving devices are used for saving energy and also reduce electricity bills
They also protect electrical appliances from surges
They also remove carbon from circuit to reduce losses
