LED Chaser Circuit

In this tutorial, we are going to make a simple "LED Chaser Circuit using CD4017 & 555 Timer IC".

Hardware Required

• CD4017 Decade Counter IC
• LEDs (Red, Blue)
• NE555 Timer IC
• Pot
• 3.5mm DC power jack
• Capacitors (1µF, 0.01µF)
• Resistors (10K, 680)
• 9V Battery
• Battery clips
• Breadboard
• Connecting Wires

Step 2: Solder Both IC's

Step 3: Place IC in Base

Step 4: Solder Resistor & Trimmer

Step 5: Solder Capacitor & DC Power Jack

Step 6: Solder All LED's

Step 7: Let's Test the Circuit
