The challenge
Holidays always feel a little magical...
Pi Day (March 14th) is quickly approaching, and this holiday is especially mathemagical!
In celebration of this infinitely irrational holiday, we invite you to share any numerical Pi-related project of yours. To enter, share photos of your project and explain how it incorporates 3.14. If your project is deemed to be the most magically mathematical, you'll not only win a 1-year subscription to Make: magazine and $100 in Shed Cred, usable on makershed.com, but also the brand new Raspberry Pi Zero W board, just released on February 28th.
As is always the case with all you brilliant makers, we anticipate lots of ingenious entries. And although we can only choose one winner, look out on the Make: blog for our announcement of the winner along with honorable mentions.
Rules
- Must somehow incorporate the number 3.14
- Must be an original design (designs that are taken from another maker or from third party intellectual property such as Star Wars will be disqualified)
- No offensive materials
- Bonus points for the inclusion of actual pie and/or Raspberry Pi computer.
Judging criteria
Entries will be judged by Make: editors. Entries will be judged based on quality, creativity, completeness of the submission, and aesthetics.
