Out project consists of a custom hardware module capable of enhancing the performance of a RISC-V processor.
The Custom Hardware Module (or CHM) is comprised of 16 ALUs on 4x4 matrix as visible in the image below:
The goal of the CHM is to give the possibility to execute multiple operations/instructions in one go. It can be used to speed up processes like image processing, encryption algorithms, etc.
We will integrate the module as shown in the image below:
We uploaded a video describing how to replicate and use the project in it's current state. For this you will require the Cora Z7-07S development board.
