Help to find a new and revolutionary way to detect virus infections like COVID-19 in an early stage. Participate in this pilot research project by sleeping at night. We provide an IoT measurement kit to collect data about sweating and body temperature during your sleep. We've done scientific research which shows that to this day no specific evidence-based approach for diagnosing nocturnal perspiration (night sweating) exists. By introducing the Q-Strip, an IoT device that quantitatively measures nocturnal perspiration, this could be acquired.
New digital biomarkerAt the moment we are cooperating with scientists to validate the Q-Strip as a trustworthy digital biomarker. If the Q-Strip works like we plan, it’s a revolutionary way to detect infections like COVID-19. But also think about many other diseases, which are already documented to have sweating as a symptom. Even science is quite a blank page about sweating as an early symptom (prodromal symptoms). What does our body tell us what we don’t know yet? The Q-Strip is a tool to measure our bodies in a way we haven’t seen before.
We are proud to share our research with you: Nocturnal perspiration as a parameter and predictor from a Q-Strip.
This Q-Strip project is about to measure the amount of sweat in combination with temperature during the sleep of (still healthy) people during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are referring to the trends that arise before people are really sick and experience thei
Q-Strip is simple. You don’t have to wear anything. It’s very user-friendly. Users place the strip under their sheet. Plug and play. That’s it. You just sleep.
