I created this project for my introductory assignment in my physical computing class. The requirement for the project was to use a switch or knob to activate some type of signal. I got inspired from my friend to code the song "Crazy Frog" to the board and have some fun lighting effects to go with it. For the physical set up, I connected a toggle switch to the CPX. After connecting the wires, switch and CPX, I coded the each music note of the song in Microsoft MakeCode and had it loop when the switch is flipped on. I also created another statement to have a light animation play on a loop when the switch is on as well. After that I took a baby tomato box for the housing unit and wrapped tissue paper on the inside of it. This is to avoid the wires inside from being seen, but still be able to allow light and sound to come through the unit. I then inserted the switch on the side of the box, attached the wires with the CPX into it and connected a lithium battery to power the device.
