Few years ago, I became a really arduino fan, I really enjoyed how the system works, and how programmers think, nowadays I dont really remember a lot about the programming grammar of arduino, but I still remember how the programe thinks ( the setup, the loop, how conditionals work)
Well, last year I became a fond of combustion engines, and since the first moment I saw how important is electronics and programing on engines, mainly due to the necessity of improve the eficiency, polution and performance.
In the old days, where electronics and programing wasn´t something developed at all, engines used something called carburator, that, basically is a mecanical gadget, wich role is make the most perfect possible mix of fuel and air, and, wile we didnt care about what came out of the exaust pipe, it worked, and still works in many small engines such as mine.
But, witht the developing of electronics and programation, a new system called inyection has been used in most of our engines.
What inyection does, is put the exact ammout of fuel depending on how much air flows inside the engine, this works with a highly complex "arduino" called ecu, whoose work is, with the information guiven by some sensors ( Lambda, cpk, maf) decides how much fuel has to put in the combustion camera.
This is my objetive, take the 1 cylinder 4 stroke carburated engine, and make an inyection system with arduino as ecu.
