Answering Halloween Pumpkin

My kid and I wanted to make a more interesting pumpkin than what you get at the store. We decided that it would be fun if the pumpkin detected motion and greeted the person walking up to it.

Then we we thought, well, what if the person responds back to the pumpkin. Shouldn't it say something back?

And so we decided to add a motion sensor and a sound sensor to it.

We recorded a few different greetings and a few different responses, lowered and altered the recordings using Audacity, and hooked up the circuit. Voila.
