Hey guys, the idea here is to try to use a single actuator to create a simple push style ventilator that can adapt to different sizes of ambu bags. It's a proof of concept that seems to work very well.
It's a simple and fun build that can be built with the motor on either end and could be adapted to have a touch screen mounted to the angle of the acrylic. Could be run independent using a pi with a simple single axis driver. I was also working on outcrops for holding the bags neck, but for now its working without them. For this design we are using a 250 C-Beam actuator and one 12" square piece of acrylic.
The Build is the same as the C-Beam Actuator with the addition of the plates on the side of the C-Beam which mount using 10mm screws and drop in tee nuts.
Reference pictures have been added to aid in construction as well as a simple 3D model and DXF for the plate cut out.Files are in the Files and Drawings Tab aboveIncluded are a DXF layout of acrylic parts / Vectric CAM Cut files / SketchUp 3D modelI used a 1/8th single flute SharkBit to cut the acrylic
