This can offer to the experience of Highest Jockey! A user could emit a signal by Leap Motion during watching a Jockey's view on the HMD. Which control a Darby robot on Raspberry Pi and Rodeo machine.
This product was inspired by 4 points below:
- What is effective.
- The maker movement.
- Entertainment.
- Robot.
So, we were trying to develop this Jockey robot. Among them, were especially put a force to make an atmosphere. We have some plan for improvement for getting a higher immersion feeling:
- Implementation augmented reality
- Synchronizing both HMD and Web Camera's angle
- Extend the moving.
We try to make feasibility of the Leap Motion will be a product extension for robot from these plans.
