Multiot (Intel Edison)

I get it, we all have busy schedules, our brains just don't have enough storage for those tiny details!

很多时候我们就是太忙了，根本就记不住这些小东西。所以，我做了Multiot为了解决这个问题。

No worries, this is where Multiot comes in...

Multiot is a small piece of hardware based around the Intel Edison chip, and it communicates with the Multiot smartphone application. Basically, the Multiot device can measure and alert your phone of its surrounding temperature when it reaches a certain benchmark that you define. But, that's not all (or else Multiot would be very basic). The app harnesses the power of crowdsourcing, so that users can upload their favorite "recipes". For example, you know that macarons are very capricious in the oven; they need that exactly perfect temperature, it can't be a bit high or low! So, if there's a macaron expert out there, they can create benchmark temperatures and/or times for preheating the oven, putting the macarons in, and taking them out. This can be applied to anything besides food as well. Experiment, play around, and once you've found something that may work, share the wealth through this platform so others can download it onto their Multiot too!

虽然Multiot里面Intel Edison是一个很非常小的计算机，可是它有很多用处。比如说，如果我想烤一个蛋糕，不知道应该要什么温度把蛋糕放进去和拿出来，能用Multiot app上面的一个‘recipe’。你只要下载那一个软件，Multiot就能通过你的手机跟你讲什么时候应该干什么！

Although Multiot is not revolutionary, it takes a lot of trivial tasks off your hands so that you can go and focus on things that matter to you :) By giving you that time, I leave the task of making the next big thing to you!

As a side note, there is a huge potential for monetization here, as this is not just something that is merely cool to look at, but Multiot actually has a very practical use in daily life.
