Many umbrella producers claim their umbrellas can block UV. Umbrellas prevent from harm of UV and protect people. Our students (Yes, they are elementary school students) would like to prove it and be a science fair project. So they made a UV measurer with Arduino and sensors.
Step 1. Discuss and designWe discussed the design of UV measure.
Step 2. ThingspeakIn order to measure UV value and temperature data at the same time, we designed the circuit and programmed to send data to ThingSpeak IOT platform. We made a prototype and it worked.
That's our prototype of UV measure.
We use Scratch 2 + Transformer(middle ware) to program.
Our measure via a computer and WIFI to send data to ThingSpeak IOT platform.
Wow, it works. It cam measure UV value and temperature data, and send data to IOT platform.
We made the measure and moved it outside to start our science experiment --- to know if the umbrella can really prevent UV as claim.
