First of all I would like to thank Elegoo for sponsoring this initiative by providing me with the sensor kit. They were very kind and the package arrived in a couple of days!
Let's start talking about the shipment because the product was perfectly preserved inside the box due to the excellent packaging. One thing I want to point out, as I have bought other sensor kits in the past, is that the kit is really sturdy! The thickness of the edge is abundant, so as to better protect the sensors stored inside.
This kit is truly assorted! Find 37 sensors of all kinds, having the ability to create any project that can cross your mind!
I want to make an observation on PCBs and soldering made on sensors and actuators because they are fantastic. You can see with the naked eye the quality of the product, taken care of since its production. In particular, the welds are done correctly (right temperature, right amount of tin, no burrs), a very important aspect for the quality of our projects!
Furthermore, to avoid the degradation of the quality of the sensors present in the kit, we note that in both levels of the box silica gel have been inserted in order to absorb humidity.
The kit can be purchased at the following link: https://amzn.to/38OvtP0
A first project that we can go to realize with the help of this kit is a weather station: using the 16x02 LCD, the humidity sensor, the water detection sensor, the temperature sensor and the brightness sensor you can in fact collect a lot of information about an external environment. Clearly these sensors can also be used for an indoor environment to keep it monitored or controlled.
A second project that we can go to realize is an automated greenhouse. In fact, always using the sensors mentioned previously we can control the greenhouse environment and exploiting the notions I mentioned at this link
https://www.hackster.io/danielrossitv/control-dc-motor-with-npn-transistor-arduino-pwm-cdaf2e
we can control the motor that will water our plants!
Moreover, at this other link you can find the information you need to create the automated greenhouse project:

Ultrasonic sensors, on the other hand, are very useful when you want to measure a straight distance starting from a point. Some very interesting projects can be the ultrasonic radar, or, if mounted on an RC car, they can be used to prevent the latter from hitting objects while moving.
On our car we could also mount the gyroscope module to measure the forces involved. This module is very useful, indeed, also essential for building a drone. For both the drone and the car we could use the joystick to manage its movement. As you can see, with this kit we can do a lot!
Eventually we can make the car a little more autonomous in driving by adding an avoidance sensor and a track sensor.
One thing I've never used is the membrane switch. it is very interesting because if combined with the shock sensor, the HC-sr501 and some lasers aimed at photo resistors, we can secure doors and home environments by building our security system. And as an alarm we can use the buzzers!
A slightly more complicated sensor to apply to a project is the hall sensor or the magnetic field sensor. Often the latter are used when working with variable magnetic fields, to monitor their value. These are always present for example inside BLDC motors, so as to give us the possibility to control their speed more easily.
So what are you waiting for ??? The kit is available now on Amazon, in one click it can be yours!
What other projects do you have in mind to do with this kit?
