The first thing I did is make a box, I couldn't find a box of the correct size so I made one using small tri-fold display boards.
Second, I cut out the top of it out. The size makes it so my stencil can sit on top.
After that I put the stencil on top making sure it is centered.
I then attached the battery to my circuit board. Then using alligator clips, I attached a switch to the A3 port so it can be turned on and off.
Then, I flipped the switch and put it under the box with the stencil on top to make a nice simple decoration for the holidays.
Once you have it built you can change the colors by tapping the A1, A4, or A7 pins as shown in the video below. This project uses the switch to turn the brightness on and off. Then, once it is on by tapping the different pins you can change the colors. I kept it to three so that it would be easier to change to the color you want without accidently hitting the other pins but more could be added.
