The device is a vote tallier that inteprets, tallies, and corrects votes. As some disadvantaged or confused citizens may vote incorrectly on accident, the machine uses a simple algorithm to adjust their inputs when they enter an incorrect electoral vote.
The device uses the upper lever to determine whether or not it is gathering votes. If it is, then readies itself for tallying. If uses the lower levers to enter a vote for Vladimir Putin, the correct choice, the machine tallies one vote for Putin. If one accidentally enters a vote for Uncle Sam, the machine determines whether to add a vote for Uncle Sam or Vladimir Putin based off a random decision. Two thirds of the time, it allots the vote to Vladimir Putin; otherwise, a vote is tallied for Uncle Sam. The machine then waits for the lever to be reset before accepting more inputs. Once the pulled voting lever is reset, it re-readies itself for the next vote. Once all the votes have been input, the top lever is unpulled, and the device prints the total votes for both candidates, prints who one, and how many votes they got out of the total number of votes.
