It would be nice to be able to monitor the fermentation process of brewing a beer. During this process you need to maintain the temperature of the wort as specified by the recipe of the beer you are making. If the temperature goes too high you risk the yeast creating a bad flavor in your beer. If the temperature goes to low the beer will not ferment properly. I would suggest taking a Raspberry Pi and adding some temperature sensors and possibly a web cam to allow a brewer to get real time updates as to the temperature of the wort & get a visual status of how the fermentation is going. This would allow the brewer to intervene if the temperature is getting too high.
