Hardware components

UnaBIz UnaShield V2S Arduino Shield for Sigfox

UnaShield is an Arduino Shield that sends data to the Sigfox network. It contains onboard sensors for temperature, humidity, air pressure.

Arduino UNO

Arduino Uno will be the controller for reading the sensor data and sending the data through UnaShield

Software apps and online services

Ubidots

For realtime visualisation of the collected sensor data

Sigfox

Provides the low-power nationwide network for sensor data collection

Google Cloud Platform

We use Google Cloud Functions to integrate the Sigfox backend with the Ubidots API

Story

What if you have been been asked to install sensors all over your campus or workplace to record ambient temperature, humidity and air pressure?

There's an easy solution - just connect your Arduino board to the UnaShield Arduino Shield for Sigfox. We'll explain the Arduino sketch for reading the sensor data and sending to the Sigfox low-power nationwide network for sensing devices.

To visualise the collected data, we'll set up Sigfox to send the sensor data to Ubidots, a powerful online tool for processing sensor data. Check out the doc:
