Keep Live ADSL Modem !

In my Home I have many IOT Devices. And those Device are connected to My Adsl Modem so My Modem (ADSL For Internet) Has critical rule in my home.

But What Happen If Internet was disconnect or what happen if my adsl internet be disconnect and I’m be out of home! So in this condition I can’t reset my adsl modem and I will lose all of IOT Devices Control

So this problem force me to design some little solution J

I prepared some little board that provide my adsl electrical power. That’s mean I connect adsl adapter to this new board Instead of connect it directly to power.

My new board has a relay switch and it connect to adsl adapter and raspberry pi board so with raspberry pi I can control power of adsl adapter.

And now I develop a micro service that’s Task is internet controlling.

I deployed this micro service on my raspberry pi board and When the micro service detects internet disconnection then it turns off adsl power and turn on adsl power again after 5 second (Reset adsl modem).

My Microservice Check Internet Connection on every 10 second

Yesss with this solution never I will not lose My IOT Devices Control when I’m out of home.
