An automated mixer injects a certain amount of the AB Solution into the crops by sensing the crops plot. This project is unique in that you can only have one mixer that can deliver nutrients to many types of crops without having to modify each crop. This project will be able to handle the challenge of managing the nutrient schedule going to crops among urban farmers. The Mixer also has mobility qualities, allowing it to be moved from any place to meet the needs of the crops and for easy transfer.
The Problem StatementWhen it comes to multi-crop farming it's often difficult for the farmers to distribute the Fertilizer due to the different requirements of each crop. This could lead to low productivity and slow crop growth.
The solutionCreate an automated Fertilizer system but compare to any existing project I put a mixer tank that could actually enable the fertilizer to mix according to the crop's needs. The mixer will later distribute it accordingly.
Sensor Functionality
- Ultrasonic Sensor - To measure the Water Tank Level
- Submersible Water Pump - To flow the tank water into the mixer Tank
- Maker Soil Moisture Sensor - To measure the soil moisture of the plant
- Servo Motor - To stir the liquid mix in the Mixer Tank,
System Working
The soil Sensor when it detects the plant is dry will trigger the system to inject the fertilizer. The A and B Tanks will flow the liquid into the mixer tank. The mixer tank will mix that liquid with a simple stirrer that operates by the servo motor (the light mix is sufficient enough). All of this sensor Data will be displayed on IoT Middleware Dashboard the FAVORIOT Platform for the End Users to watch the Data Movement.
