IoSP: The Internet of Solved Problems with Particle

The challenge

From our homes to our offices to the environment and beyond, our world is filled with a lot of opportunities to solve challenging problems. Luckily, it’s also filled with a whole lot of problem solvers like you!

You have the brains and determination to solve just about anything thrown at you. That’s why we’re so excited to kick off the Internet of Solved Problems contest.

How it works

Choose something in your day to day life (or bigger!) that could benefit from the power of IoT. Then build a solution to make it a reality.

Solve a problem with a Particle-powered solution. It’s as simple as that.

From now until May 11th, 2018 we will be accepting idea proposals from the Hackster contest community. Each submission must have:

• A clear description of the problem you’d like to solve.

• How you plan to use Particle to solve the problem you’ve identified.

• Note: This contest is not open to team entries.

From the day your project is approved until June 25th, 2018 we will be accepting project submission from the Hackster contest community.

Our judges will pore over each and every submission and, after careful consideration, will give the best entries top prizes including first dibs on the new Particle Mesh hardware shipping this summer.

To help get the problem-solving-ball rolling, we are giving Particle Photon Kits to the first 50 folks who submit approved ideas, absolutely free of charge. Just make sure your idea is rock-solid, solves a specific, well-described problem, and complies with the rules of this contest.*
