Check out my latest project Hacking Wearables for Medical Device Development. Hack a $35 Arduino compatible nRF52 ARM Cortex activity tracker to build low power devices. Currently, used to prototype wearable medical devices at MATTER Lab. Complete tutorials and code for accelerometer gesture recognition, neural network training, and 3D model control using Bluetooth.
Plasma balls + stripped down football shoulder pads + portable car battery starter + misc. = AWESOME. I swear, this thing should be prescribed as therapy. Go to a party or dance and you will be the belle of the ball - for real. The interactive nature of the plasma balls just can't be beat. This is an old project that I've been meaning to document it. More info + pics + tutorial coming soon!
It is worth noting that this is a very simple project that requires absolutely no knowledge of electronics.
Second, this is a crowd pleaser like none other. At some point I'm going to mount a GoPro or similar camera on the pauldrons at a party just to get some footage. I continue to be blown away by the positive reaction this gets.
