My project is a smart pot that monitors room conditions to optimally care for a house plant. The pot is 3D printed as well as the base and stand it is sitting on. It reads in air quality, temperature, and humidity in the room and displays it to the built in OLED. It also reads in light levels in the room, turning on a Neopixel ring when the room becomes to dark. Finally the smart pot uses a soil moisture moisture sensor to monitor soil moisture and automatically water the plant when the soil gets to dry. Using a pump in a nearby shrimp tank, the plant has a continuous supply of nutrient rich water. All conditions in the room can be monitored from an adafruit.io dashboard. The light and watering system can be controlled from the dashboard as well.
Smart Flower Pot
