While commencing, COVID-19 was not yet a global pandemic. Now, it’s the greatest challenge the world has faced in decades. In just a few short months, it’s transformed people’s lives on an unprecedented scale, impacted every industry, and altered the course of companies’ growth. But the pandemic has not slowed innovation—it’s amplifying it to historic levels.
Our technology trends explore how people’s values are shifting, and digital-age technology models are increasingly out of sync with them. It exacerbates it. Now more than ever, it’s critical that businesses think about outmaneuvering today’s uncertainty.
No trend has escalated quite like Robots in the Wild. As social distancing becomes the new normal, robots are moving from controlled environments to uncontrolled environments in many industries faster than we expected. They are more critical than ever, as businesses and governments search for new, “contact-less” solutions.
In the short-term, robots are taking on new responsibilities during the pandemic. Robots are joining our frontline workers and helping to fight the virus. They’re helping businesses do even more, while simultaneously demonstrating new use cases to regulators, workers, and the public. The pandemic is showing robots in their best light, and the impact won’t be forgotten. We have come up with a solution of autonomous hand sanitization and temperature checker as a touch-free solution. Eventually upgrading more stuff with Arduino and the latest technologies.

This device is completely made of custom designs and parts. The procedure on how to fabricate this device and the necessary documents required for the fabrication are given below. The device is made of 2mm mild steel metal sheet. The sides of the device are cut with CNC laser cutter and the corners are achieved by rolling the sheets with Sheet rolling machine available in industries. This device is fabricated in metal in order to bring out the realistic industrial grade look and this is extremely durable. Once the parts are cut from MS sheets, they are to be welding as mentioned in this document.
Once the fabrication is done, assemble the component as per the schematics and the circuit diagram. Then upload the program and power it with the DC power adapter to see how it works.
Once the assembly and the wiring are done, test it with some sanitizer in it.
When a person comes near the device and stands less than 10cm in front of the device, it checks for the temperature and it displays on the TFT color display. Once the temperature is checked, the user can stretch their hands under the spraying nozzle and get their hands sanitized. The outflow from the nozzle will be 3ml as per the guidelines of WHO (World Health Organization) in the form of mist.
During the temperature check, if the temperature is normal or below 99.5 degrees Fahrenheit, the temperature values get displayed in green color on the TFT display. Incase if the temperature is above 99.5 or higher than normal, the value gets displayed in red color and the high-temperature alert will be given on the display as well as the buzzer will buzz. Hence, the user may have to consult a doctor.
This touch-free device ensures good safety to the society and it also follows the proper safety guidelines.
Here is the video which shows the working of the device.
