For this project we have designed a small printed circuit: we will build a low consumption bicycle flasher!
On the surface, the circuit is simple and almost monotonous, in its principle application. However...
... instead of using a NE555, we will choose the TLC555. The latter works with 3V, against the 5-10V of the NE555.
We will also change the duty cycle of the circuit, that is the on and off times: in this way the flasher will stay off longer, consuming less.
Two 1.5V AA type batteries are enough to power the circuit, which will work for a very long time: almost a week in a row!
