CarPC Android 

Here is a computer system embedded in the dashboard of a car, fully functional, operational and configurable.

The main advantage it has over other board computers is its operating system, Android 4.3, which allows you not only to download and install free apps from Google Play but also to use the applications you already own on other devices (tablet, smartphone, etc.).

So far all the onboard computers have just GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 7-inch touch screen and audio input and output.

This system instead allows you, for example, Internet searches through touch screen or Google Now, access to your favorite music apps, GPS navigator, data monitoring about your vehicle and a lot of other amazing stuff.

CarPC Android is based on an SBC board, in this case a UDOO Quad, and is feeded by the current vehicle (12V).

To connect the UDOO to the GPS dongle a ND-100S USB GLOBALSAT has been used. So far CarPc Android has only been mounted on a Citroen C4,

but is adaptable to any type of vehicle as it only needs a power supply and site installation.
