Josiahs Racing Dash

I decided to make a toy for my sons birthday, It took me over a year and a half but I thought it would be worth popping up here for others to be inspired by.

Basic parts list:

• Steering wheel

• Buttons

• Heat shrink

• 1/2 watt audio amplifier circuit LM386

• SD card reader or micro (whatever you have lying around)

• Portable power source (I suggest a 5v battery bank)

• 5v regulator (if your like me and use AA batteries)

• Home made binary switch using four screws and diodes to convert 4 digital in's into 16

• Darlington ULN2003AN - this is to switch the LEDs on as they will be running straight off power, not the arduino as the arduino cannot handle the draw.
