The idea for this project, is to use a toy, in this case the R2D2 from Star Wars, to help children during the cancer treatment.
The idea consists in a 6 degrees of freedom sensor to detect movements based on a predefined game, that the patient will reproduce the movement to win the game. Those movements will be generated by a specialized person and will help during a long period in the hospital, with severe restrictions for exercise.
He believes that will bring some benefits for the children and will also be fun, in a place that usually isn’t.
