Doorbell fierce animal detector on SenseCAP Watcher

Introduction

Living in rural areas offers numerous advantages, such as cleaner air, open spaces, and stunning natural landscapes, which promote a healthier lifestyle. However, there is a potential risk of fierce animals, such as wolves, bears, and lynxes, attacking our family members and pets.

We would like to show you how easy to implement a doorbell fierce animal detector with SEEED's SenseCAP Watcher (https://www.seeedstudio.com/watcher), the world's first AI watcher to help you monitor anomalies within a space and then take actions accordingly. Simply speak to Watcher to give commands, and it will execute your desired tasks when the event occurs

Hardware

1. SEEED's SenseCAP Watcher

2. mobile phone with SEEED's SenseCraft installed

Device Binding

Follow the instruction on Device Binding and OTA Upgrade (https://wiki.seeedstudio.com/getting_started_with_watcher/#device-binding-and-ota-upgrade) to connect SenseCAP Watcher and SenseCraft APP

Run fierce animals detection

1. launch SenseCraft APP on mobile

2. click the SenseCAP Watcher icon

3. speak or text "alert me if a fierce animal is detected", click send

4. verify the task, click run

5. if everything goes smooth, you should see

6. for demonstrating, place a bear photo in front of the SenseCAP Watcher

7. if a fierce animal is detected, you should receive a message
