With the onset of the pandemic and the confinement to our homes has lead us to try out our hand in creating an intelligent and autonomous drone. The motivation forced us to evaluate a niche that appealed to our moral consciousness. As the world began to realise the immediate escape from the corona virus was to maintain personal hygiene and social distancing, we identified that an intelligent machine that warns us about the same could be worth the try. We then set out to build ASMA - the Autonomous Social-Distancing Monitoring Agent. This detects people not maintaining proper public safety protocols and issues a warning to follow it properly. This must have the added ability to deploy masks and other personal hygiene products to add a aiding hand in fighting the pandemic.
