My project is a Smart room controller that lets me control the lights and switches in my room all from one place. It works with Hue lights, wemo smart plugs, photdiode, oled scree, and Neopixel led. I can adjust the brightness using a knob, and it even has a screen that shows me what’s going on.I really enjoy customizing the lighting in my room—sometimes I want cool colors for gaming, other times I need bright light to study, or dim light to relax. So I decided to build my own controller.
The components work* Encoder – I turn a knob to adjust the brightness of my lights if the encoder position increases so does the the brightness of the of the lights.
Photodiode– It senses how much light is in the room. If the room gets dark, the Neopixel turn on automatically. If it’s too bright, they turn off.Photon 2 – This is the brain of the project that controls everything. Hue lights and Wemu – The controller can turn Hue lights and WeMo switches on or off.OLED Display – A tiny screen shows the current brightness, what hue light its on what wemo its on if the wemo or hue is on and off and photodiode status in real time.
