it's an introduction video of AMS1117
Basically, I wanted to create a mini quadcopter or drone, so I 3D-printed a common mini quadcopter design that I got from Thingiverse.
I attached the mini or micro DC motors to the quadcopter's 3D-printed body and added four "MOSFET as a switch" setups for controlling each motor.
Everything was working perfectly at this point, except voltage regulation.
My plan is to add a generic ESP-12F to this setup to control the motor via a web app (which is not important right now cause I have more problems than this).
The battery is of 3.7 V which can easily kill my ESP-12F module, so I bought an AMS1117 and made its breakout PCB for testing whether it can be used as my drone's voltage regulator or if I have to use other small voltage regulators (for example the one in Pro Mini).
I made the PCB in OrCAD and exported an inverted or flipped PDF file, so I could print it on a glossy paper and make a single-sided PCB by the etching process.
Result: The AMS1117 works and I'm now gonna make a breakout board for ESP-12F with AMS1117 for the drone
