Dementia Tracker

People with dementia will often wander and not remember how to get home. This can sometimes lead to detrimental consequences. My smart room controller will track when somebody who has dementia goes near the door to go outside or physically opens the door and goes outside. In 2020 it was estimated that over 55 million people were living with dementia and that the numbers will double within 20 years. It is a daily struggle for caregivers to keep their loved ones living with dementia safe. For this reason I have created what I call the Dementia Tracker. The dementia tracker will track when somebody who has dementia goes near the door to go outside or physically opens the door and goes outside.
